The FAA recently released advisory circular 90-66C, which governs non-towered airport flight operations. It supercedes AC 90-66B, which had been in effect since Feb. 25, 2019. The AC reflects current procedures and best practices at airports without an operating control tower or an airport with a control tower that operates only part time.
