Piper Backup Radio Options. Doesn’t need ILS or backup GPS.

Q I’m looking for a simple handheld radio for ground operation, listening to traffic when I am sitting on the porch, and backup. I don’t need ILS or a backup GPS. Long, rechargeable battery life and clear communications are about the requirements I have.

I have it narrowed down to the Icom A16, Yaesu 250L, or Yaesu 450L. I see some folks like the Rexon.

Anyone have any experiences to share? Recommendations?
