SUN ’n FUN announced on March 13 that it will be postponing its annual fly-in convention that was scheduled for March 31-April 5.

The announcement was made by officials in Lakeland, Florida, who stated that the decision to postpone the event, which attracts around 200,000 visitors annually, is part of the city’s efforts to control the spread of the coronavirus. The event is tentatively rescheduled for May 5-10, but city officials said they will reassess the situation on April 17.

Those planning to attend the event are advised to check www.lakelandgov.net/COVID19 and www.flysnf.org for updates.
